Terms of Service
Effective with the first App Store release. Last updated: 11 August 2026.
The service
Bill Tracker is a budgeting app for planning and tracking spending in shared workspaces. It is a planning tool: it does not connect to bank accounts, move money, or provide financial advice.
Your account and content
- Bill Tracker needs no sign-up. Your budget lives on your device; sharing a workspace signs the device in to an anonymous account created for you.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, and for the device the app is installed on — anyone who can unlock it can see your budget.
- Content you add to a shared workspace is visible to that workspace's members. Invite people you trust, and share invite links only with them.
- You may erase everything at any time with More → "Delete all my data", as described in the Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions
- Bill Tracker offers a free tier and an optional auto-renewing Premium subscription (monthly or annual), purchased through Apple.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled in your App Store account settings.
- Where offered, free trials convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
Fair use
Don't abuse the service: no attempts to access other users' data, disrupt the service, or use it for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that do.
Warranty and liability
The service is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for financial decisions made based on the data in the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as an EU consumer.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
